For this look, I styled everything around this unique Balli necklace from Trading Hope. This necklace was handmade in India and the silver beads were hand-stitched onto the leather backing. It’s so beautiful and when it picks up the light at just the right angle, some of the beading details appear to be different colors. With this look, I instantly thought of boho meets summer casual meets a touch of glam. The relaxed pastel pink kimono and ankle cuff sandals enhance the boho vibe of this statement making piece but are subtle enough to let it stand out all on its own.

This necklace was handmade in India by local artisans and is sold through Trading Hope via a direct sales consultant. Her name is Valerie by the way and she is just so great and really supports the Trading Hope mission. With each purchase, you are supporting a business that gives artisan women in poverty-stricken areas around the world the means to use their talents to create jewelry that gives them an income to support their families. It feels so rewarding to know that your purchase impacts another woman half way across the world. You can see this necklace and other handcrafted jewelry and items from around the world via her online boutique here. Read more about the Trading Hope mission here.
