the pleated midi-skirt

There’s something feminine and retro about a midi-skirt that really makes me want to wear one, so I was quick to scoop up this olive pleated version from missguided. I actually played around a bit with this look before settling on the off-shoulder top with the bell sleeves. Initially, I wanted to pair the skirt with a ribbed mock-neck top but it just didn’t feel right. When I tried on this black top, I instantly knew this was the look I was going for. To me, it’s a bit boho/70’s inspired meets feminine and just balances really well. I definitely plan on wearing this look for Thanksgiving dinner.
