the satin skirt rises again

This skirt might be one of those particularly smug, “shopping in your own closet” moments. I’ve had it for ages and it’s made it’s way into the consignment pile once or twice, but for whatever reason, I wasn’t ever able to part with it. Maybe it’s ’90s nostalgia (I once paired it with Doc Martens and tiny tees – remember those?) or maybe it’s the quality (made of that good, thick satin that won’t run no matter what you do to it).
